Topaz

TOPAZ is a 1-year-old RED ORIENTAL SHORTHAIR. He is up to date on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and is FeLV/FIV negative.

Topaz is a curious kitty who enjoys exploring the space he is given. He likes to climb and look out the window. He is a sweet kitty, but is still learning to trust humans. He is curious and can be engaged in play with wand toys and really enjoys springs.

He eats both dry and wet food but definitely enjoys his wet food best. He uses vertical and horizontal scratching posts appropriately.

He does enjoy the company of other cats and will need to go to a home with another confident cat. He may do fine with a dog that would ignore him. A home with kids would be too much for him and he would prefer an adult-only home.

He is curious about humans, but on his own terms. He needs a patient adopter who will help him continue to come out of his shell, which is why he is listed as special needs.

He will need to go to a quiet home with cat experience. Experience with sensitive cat breeds or orientals is a plus.
