Project Description

Pretty Kitty Hazel and Fathead

“Pree” Pretty Kitty Hazel and Fathead (each around 4-years old) are sweet pair of bonded Persian siblings. They are spayed/neutered and have their claws. Fathead is the larger of the two, weighing in at around 10 pounds, and Pree weighs around 6.5 pounds. Someone who could no longer care for them surrendered these lovelies to us at SPCR.

“Pree” or Pretty Kitty Hazel is an amazing all WHITE PERSIAN with stunning golden eyes. She is not a lap cat, instead she loves to sit back and observe whatever is going on around her but when she does want attention: she will demand it. She will rub up against you and give headbutts when she’s in a lovey mood. And don’t let her grumpy expressions fool you, Pree is on the shy side, with but has warmed up nicely in foster care, although she continues to be reserved, especially around strangers and for that reason, these beauties are asking for a quiet, patient home who will let them flourish in their own time. As far as we can tell, they have always been together, so we’d like to see them stay together. Fathead gives her more confidence to explore and seek out attention when he is around and for that reason we are recommending that these two are adopted together.

Fathead is the sweetest RED AND WHITE PERSIAN with orange eyes. He has an adorable smushed face that requires daily eye care, no trouble breathing but when he gets playing you are sure to fall in love with his snorts. Like his sister Pree, he isn’t much of a lap cat. However, loves attention. He gives head butts, rubs and the occasional kisses. This big boy is very easy to love. He loves napping but is still moderately energetic. Fathead can be pushy with his sister because he wants to be front and center of attention and he has such a big personality. They’ve lived with other animals all their lives, so with proper introductions, we think they would get along with gentle cats or dogs. Calm or older children would also be a great match for these two. They are great with using scratching posts and both are excellent with using their litter box.

Both will need to have their coats groomed regularly. But fear not, both cats do great with car rides, going to the vet and with grooming. They have regularly visited the groomer every three months since they were kittens.
