Miles & Murphy

Meet Murphy and Miles, two gorgeous WHITE, blue-eyed PERSIAN boys. They are estimated to be around 10 years old, are neutered and front-paw declawed. They weigh about 10 pounds each.

These sweet handsome lads wear bunny-soft white coats, have robin-egg baby blues, and the sweetest pink noses we’ve seen. It’s unthinkable, but these two gentle boys were found abandoned, along with a silver-shaded Persian, Winnie, who will be available soon.

The boys are a bit on the shy side, but they are super sweet purr bugs – and we believe lap cats in the making. Miles has a cute snaggle tooth and is the less shy of the two. Murphy’s coat was completely matted when he came into rescue, so he’s sporting a super cute lion cut at the moment. The groomer was able to comb Miles out and get by with just a belly shave.

Our vet ran senior panels and gave both boys a clean bill of health! They each had dentals with a few extractions – which made them feel so much better. They are very food motivated and love their wet food and treats, so they want to go to a home that won’t mind serving wet food daily.

We’re looking for a family who is willing and able to keep these boys’ show-quality coats in tip-top shape. They are gentle lambs, so it’s likely they can learn to be combed at home or they’ll need to go to a professional groomer regularly. They need daily eye care as well, so a Persian experienced home is preferred.

The boys will do best in a quiet home, but one or two older, respectful kids would be fine. We think another friendly feline or two would be fine, but dogs would be too much for them. They’ve been purrfect house guests in rescue and have great litterbox habits. They’re a super-sweet, classic matching set and appear to be littermates who have been together all their lives – so we’d like them to stay together. Adoption fee $300 for the pair. Fostered in Peoria, IL.
