Project Description

Lila

LILA is a loving, BLUE POINT SIAMESE.  She is spayed, front declawed, recently had a full blood panel and is a bit overweight (and losing) at 11.5 pounds.  She has pretty blue eyes (her right eye weeps a little at times but is okay), distinct blue points and a lovely cream coat.  Lila wants absolutely nothing more than to have her very own human to love.  She is a total lap girl and wants to be with you all the time.  She is not a pest, just wants to feel your love and give it back.  Nothing makes her happier than to put her paws around your neck, snuggle into your side for a snooze or gaze at life from the security of  your lap.  For many years she had that with a human she adored but with failing health, her elderly owner could no longer care for her.  She landed with family members but it was too much for them and then she came to SPCR.  As a loyal, committed companion and now alone, afraid and utterly depressed, Lila had given up.  In a major funk and really just “done”, she needed to turn the corner and realize that life would be grand for her again.  And it IS!  Lila is loving life, loving laps and full of spunk.  She is 11 years old and you would never know it.  Her blood work says there is every reason to believe she is going to be warming someone’s heart for along time.  Her biggest issue is weight and that has an easy solution.  Love > Food!  Lila will be okay with another confident cat who will allow her to have any lap in the house.  She likely would be okay with a respectful dog and older kids would just be another lap for her.  She also would adore being the “one and only” too.  As a bonus, Lila comes with the minky blanket and hooded bed you see in the photo courtesy of her SPCR foster angel Mary.  (Foster angels ROCK).  Adoption Fee $100. Fostered in Oshkosh, WI.
