Davey

DAVEY is a wonderful BLACK AND WHITE BICOLOR RAGDOLL MIX with a van coat pattern, meaning most of his color is on his head and tail. This handsome blue-eyed buddy is neutered and has claws. We think he’s about a year old.

Only Davey knows for sure how it happened, but he appeared at a house as an unneutered stray one cold December day. A kind woman took him in, but was unable to keep him, so she whisked him to rescue right away. This boy was quite shy when he first arrived at his foster home but eventually fell in love with his foster family. Davey now is fully vetted and has come into his own. He’s asking to go to home where he can live out his years as an adored family cat. We just love happy endings!

Davey will need occasional combing to stay looking and feeling his best. Otherwise, he’s relatively low maintenance. This sweetheart loves his breakfast of canned food, tho, and wants to go to a home that will continue to feed it to him. Although he’s rooming alone, Davey has a few “suite mates” living in the adjoining room. They visit through the gate and get along well. So, we think with proper introductions, Davey would do just fine with one or two feline fur buds. A gentle dog would likely be okay, as would older, respectful kids.

Simply put: Davey is one of the sweetest kitties around. Check out his video and watch him roll around, asking his foster dad for tummy rubs. That is Davey’s MO 24/7. But he will undoubtedly start out shy and a bit uncertain in his new digs – so it will be important for him to stay in a small room when he first goes home. Once he trusts his new family and becomes comfortable, this boy will undoubtedly rule his kingdom and capture the hearts of subjects everywhere.
