CLAIRE is a 1 year old, super outgoing female SIAMESE MIX who, unfortunately, has had some very bad luck in her short life.

Claire came to SPCR from a local Wisconsin shelter.  Claire had trouble walking and it was determined she needed ball and joint surgery on both sides of her hip.  While  she was healing from her surgery, Claire started having kidney issues.  Currently Claire is not concentrating her urine the way she should.  Claire eats lots of canned food and drinks lots of water, so she does not need fluids or meds at this time.  However Claire does produce  large amounts of urine-but always uses the litter box.

Claire loves people!  She was a huge show off at all her vet appointments, and would roll on the floor and purr non stop while the staff talked to or pet her.  Claire loves to play with toys. She likes cat nip toys, crinkle balls and lives to play wand toys with you.

Claire is good with other cats that don’t jump on her once she gets to know them.   Small children would be too much for her. A calm dog is fine but she will follow them around and try to intimidate them.

Claire is fully vetted. Spayed, has all vaccines, microchipped, has her claws and is feluk/fiv negative.
