KAYLIE is a very sweet CALICO DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR.  She is almost 2 years old, is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative and has her claws.

Kaylie was rescued as a small kitten after having been found outside all by her lonesome. She was too precious to pass up and found her way to SPCR. She was adopted by a family who loved her very much, but sadly their circumstances changed and they had to return her to us.

Kaylie is an affectionate little cat and absolutely loves people. Her foster parents enjoy coming home and being greeted by this little cutie.  They have given her the cute nickname of “me”.  She makes them smile when she plays with her favorite wand toys. She enjoys sitting in a cat tree by the window and watching for birds, squirels and anything else that moves.  Kaylie loves getting attention from her foster mom when she sits next to her on the couch.

Her foster parents have come to realize that Kaylie would much prefer being the only pet in the house…and with so much purrsonality, who needs the competition anyway?

Kaylie eats both dry and wet food, but absolutely loves her wet food. She would prefer a home where she continues to get her wet food, which also keeps her coat soft because of the extra hydration it provides.

Kaylie does well with older children and would especially enjoy having someone who wants to play wand toys or toss some toys for her. She might be okay with an older, cat savvy and laid back dog, but would do best as a single pet in the home.
