Project Description

Adeline

ADELINE aka ‘ADDI’…is a lovely SEAL POINT SNOWSHOE SIAMESE. She is 9 years old, spayed and has her claws. She weighs around 9 pounds and has a beautiful, easy coat in chocolates and white and bright blue eyes that are slightly crossed which just adds to her charm. Adeline has had a full dental and health checkup and is doing just great. She does have a heart murmur but further testing showed it was not a disease issue and she is ready for her forever home.  Addi came to SPCR from a Chicago animal control facility where she was left when her owners moved and didn’t take her.  She was a little upset at first, being away from the only home she had ever known, but she has settled into her foster home and enjoys napping in her favorite window or in the bed with you. Addi is fine with other cats and dogs who ignore her. She is a beautiful, affectionate kitty, as you can see by her video, but she is a typical little female Siamese in that she can also be independent and sassy. When she is done, she’s done. We recommend a cat experienced home where she will not be overstimulated by small children and given the space and patience she needs to thrive. The best home for Addi would be cat experienced who enjoys an independent older kitty who wants attention on her terms. Addi is listed as special needs due to her heart murmur and also because she is a bit “buxom” for her size and age. Her new people should be committed to helping her continue to lose weight and a moderated, canned only diet would do the trick since she already prefers canned food. Addi has quite the character and a funny “cattitude”. Siamese routinely live over 20 so she could have at least a decade more of love to give! Special Needs Adoption Fee $50. FOSTERED IN MILWAUKEE, WI.
